Refund Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026- Full refund within 14 days of your first payment or of any renewal charge — no questions asked.
- Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, back to the original payment method.
- You can cancel at any time; you keep your plan until the end of the paid period.
1. Who processes refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. This policy explains when we agree to refunds; Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If SameSet is not right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of:
- your first payment for a paid plan (monthly or yearly); or
- any automatic renewal charge, including yearly renewals.
You do not have to give a reason. After a refund is issued, your subscription is cancelled and your Account returns to the Free plan.
3. How to request a refund
- Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or find your order at paddle.net using the email address you used at checkout; or
- write to [email protected] from any address with the email used for the purchase and, if possible, the order number or your SameSet account ID.
We aim to confirm refunds within 2 business days. Paddle returns the money to your original payment method; depending on your bank or card issuer, it usually appears within 5–10 business days. Paddle refunds the full amount charged, including taxes.
4. After 14 days
After 14 days, payments for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, including for partially used periods and unused hours. You can cancel at any time in SameSet → Account → Manage subscription to stop future renewals, and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
We may still issue a full or partial refund at our discretion, for example if a technical problem on our side prevented you from using the Service for a significant part of the period, or if we terminate your plan without cause (in which case we refund the unused part).
5. Changing plans
When you upgrade, Paddle charges a prorated amount for the rest of the current period, and the 14-day guarantee applies to that charge. When you downgrade, the prorated difference is kept as a credit towards your future payments rather than refunded, unless the downgrade happens within 14 days of a payment and you ask for a refund of that payment.
6. Consumers in the EU, EEA, UK and other countries
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Our 14-day money-back guarantee gives you at least the same protection: even if you have started using a paid plan during that period, we refund the full amount rather than a proportionate one. Nothing in this policy limits other mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country.
7. Exceptions
We may refuse a refund where the law allows it and there is clear evidence of abuse — for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles or fraudulent payments — or where your Account was terminated for a serious breach of our Terms of Service. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us or Paddle before disputing it with your bank; we will do our best to resolve it quickly. Opening a chargeback may suspend your paid plan while the dispute is reviewed.
8. Free plan
The Free plan involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
